PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. (WALA/Gray News) - Hurricane Isaias will soon impact the Gulf Coast, and many people in Florida wanted to make one last trip to see Pensacola Beach up close before the weather takes a turn.Stephanie Dzugan, a visitor, said she was explaining the situation to her son.“I was explaining to my son that this is kind of the calm before the storm, sun shining. It’s beautiful, enjoy it, then follow directions and take heed and let mother nature do what she does,” Stephanie Dzugan said.Paul Dzugan, a visitor, described the conditions at the beach.“It’s really cool. It’s pretty beautiful and the waves are really big. I wouldn’t recommend going boogie boarding or scuba diving, and it’s really good for sea shelling,” Paul Dzugan said.Isaias could near Category 3 strength.
